  3. Wash and cut the vegetables into small pieces, about 1 inch in size.

  4. Add the vegetables to the batter and mix well, making sure that all of the vegetables are coated with the batter.

  5. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or wok over medium-high heat.

  6. Once the oil is hot, take a small spoonful of the vegetable batter and drop it into the oil. Repeat until you have several pakoras frying in the oil at once, but be careful not to overcrowd the pan.
